How to: Remove a program from the Startup folder.
Solution:
Click 'Remove' in the 'Start Menu Programs' tabbed page of the 'Taskbar Properties' dialog box.
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Taskbar...'. (The 'Taskbar Properties' dialog box appears.)

3) Click the 'Start Menu Programs' tab. (The 'Start Menu Programs' tabbed page appears.)
4) Click 'Remove...'. (The 'Remove Shortcuts/Folders' window appears.)
5) Double-click 'Startup' in the list box.
6) Select the program to be removed, and click 'Remove'.
7) Click 'Close'.
8) Click 'OK' to exit the 'Taskbar Properties' dialog box.
